Prophets


1. A nabi is a person to whom ALLAH, the Almighty, gifted Divine revelation for the guidance of Mankind.

2. All of them were human beings. They were neither Jinn nor Angels.
 
3. All of them were men. None of them were women.

4. Divine revelation only came to them.

5. Their dreams are also divine revelations.

6. No one can become a Nabi by his own effort or worship. It is only through the grace of Almighty ALLAH.

7. They remain free from disgusting things in their ancestry, body, speech, practises, habits and customs.

8. Decline of Prophethood is impossible.

9. To believe in its decline is kufr.

10. They are absolutely sinless. They remain free from major sins entirely and from minor sins intentionally, before and after the announcement of their Prophethood.

11. They have conveyed the Commandments of ALLAH to His servants completely. They did not conceal any of them for any reason.

12. ALLAH, The Almighty, bestowed them the knowledge of unseen.

13. They are superior to all creatures.

14. No one can equal them in their status.

15. To show them due respect is obligatory.

16. The slightest disrespect of any of them is Kufr.

17. Almighty ALLAH sent many Prophets, from Hazrat Adam to our Beloved Prophet MUHAMMAD (May ALLAH Shower Him with Blessing)

18. Assuming their exact number is not permissible.

19. The following Prophets are mentioned in The Holy Quran:

 Hazrat Adam
 Hazrat Idris
 Hazrat Nooh
 Hazrat Ibraheem
 Hazrat Isma’il
 Hazrat Is’haq
 Hazrat Ya’qoob
 Hazrat Yoosuf
 Hazrat Moosa
 Hazrat Haroon
 Hazrat Shu’aib
 Hazrat Loot
 Hazrat Hood
 Hazrat Dawood
 Hazrat Sulaiman
 Hazrat Ayyoub
 Hazrat Ilyas
 Hazrat Al-Yasa
 Hazrat Salih

20. ALLAH, The Almighty, created Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) without a father or mother.

21. Hazrat Adam (alaiya-salam) is the first human being.

22. Hazrat Isa (alaiya-salam) was born without a father.

23. Prophets have distinct grades.

24. Almighty ALLAH bestowed them with Miracles.

25. All of them are very esteemed with ALLAH.

26. To mention their lapses other than during recitation of The Holy Quran and narration of Ahadees is strictly forbidden.

27. They are alive in their graves and worship their Lord.

28. ALLAH, The Almighty, has forbidden the earth to cause harm to their holy bodies.
